Har subah ke tarah needh se jagi thi mein,

Bahar dekha toh har taraf safeedi chahi thi.

Aakho ko meed kar phir dekha,

toh charo taraf kohra dekhi deya.

Duur duur tak raho ka neeshaan na tha,

insaan toh kya makaan ka pata na tha.

Halki se thand ek taazgi le aayi,

josh aur utsah ke saath din ke suruvaath kani chahi.

Nikli un adishay raho par, is umeed se ke mil jayegi manzil,

chal padi raho par, sab kuch saaf nazar aane laga.

Rahe saaf dikhaiye de, magar manzil par he parshnchin lagne laga,

kohra toh saaf ho gaya, magar zindagi par kohra pad gaya.

As I see everyday the death of my wishes,

I often cry and console myself something,

I make myself believe that I'll( live) my life my way.

As i write my thoughts here, I come to realize

How easily 'live' slipped out my sentence.

I scream at my mind for the disability to portray itself,

I scold my brain for being insane to reason out love to me everytime......

Passage of women’s reservation Bill will alter social reality?

Its been said that history was made yesterday with the passage of the women’s reservation Bill in the Rajya Sabha. A milestone has been etched in the realm of women’s empowerment in independent India by making space of 33%.
I dont think anyone can deny (maybe except for RJD, JD(U) and SP and like minded people like them) that patriarchy still runs deep in Indian society and women have been historically denied social, economic and political opportunities. Even today, women face discrimination of one sort or another both in the private and public sphere. For instance, personal laws are loaded against women and women earn less than men for the same work – just to mention two examples of manifest gender injustice.
The cause of women’s empowerment hinges on political representation and economic advancement. Which is why the passage of the women’s reservation Bill in the Rajya Sabha can be justifiably termed as path-breaking social reform.
Do we really need to be happy & celebrate. I dnt think so!!!

Sixty-three years after independence, we are merely acknowledging the political rights of one half of our population. It’s been a long time coming.

A fear that grows with every breathe I take,

it takes away my breath as i struggle to keep it away.

I try to be strong and fight hard to believe I'll achieve,

A trap I feel...

of worldly affairs, spiritual knot, emotional bond

still is sugar and jaggery for a dreamer like 'ME'

to dictate, to delude, to diminish the 'ME'
